Jamie Bender

Director of Photography, Camera Operator

Jamie Bender is the Director of Photography and co-owner of J65 Productions LLC. Jamie earned his bachelor of art in Electronic Media and Film from Towson University, and is proficient in both film and digital motion picture formats. He is experienced in all areas of production, including pre- and post-production.

Jamie has shot a wide variety of music videos, commercials, live events and corporate videos for various clients. Some of Jamie’s recent projects include filming rapper DMX’s latest music video “Already”, and heavy metal band Hatebreed’s Live Dominance Blu-ray concert DVD. He also filmed The Executive Poker Tour in Atlantic City, and recently shot an episode for the custom motorcycle reality show, Hollywood Choppers. Jamie also served as DP on two feature films: “Roulette”, and “6 Nonsmokers,” to be released in 2010.

His work has taken him all over the country, including Los Angeles, Atlantic City, Houston, Detroit, and much more. Jamie’s clients often remark about his creativity and professionalism, and he is often called back for repeat business.

Mike Baldwin

Writer and Director

Mike Baldwin is the writer and director, as well as co-owner of J65 Productions LLC. A graduate of Towson University’s Electronic Film and Media program, Mike has gained deep experience in the field as both a writer/director and as a crew member.

Mike directs all commercials and projects that are completed solely by J65 Productions. He has also performed grip and lighting duties on numerous assignments, including live events, music videos, commercials and several short films and feature films. Recent projects include the PGA Tour, 6 Non-Smokers, and the DMX music video “Already”.

The skills and experience acquired from work in the field makes Mike a valuable asset in the video production field as well as a writer and director. Mike has worked with Jamie Bender for the past six years.

Brad Rankin

Media Manager and Grip

Brad Rankin is the most recent addition to the J65 Productions team. With a background in producing and coordinating numerous live sporting events and award shows, Brad is skilled in all aspects of production, including writing, producing, shooting and editing.

A graduate of Towson University’s Electronic Media and Film program, Brad is experienced in all areas of production, including pre- and post-production. He serves as Assistant Camera and Grip on set, and is highly skilled in post-production video editing. He is proficient with numerous applications including Final Cut Pro, Avid, After Effects, Photoshop, and DVD Studio Pro, and enjoys learning to use the latest editing technology.

Recent projects include DMX’s latest music video, “Already,” Season 2 of the Web series, “Orange Juice in Bishops Garden,” an episode of the reality show, Hollywood Choppers, and 6 Nonsmokers, an independent feature film to be released in 2010. He also recently worked on commercials for DNA Autoworks and 6 non-Smokers.
